Dave Richards began his radio career on the Voice Of Peace in Israel at the tender age of 17 and narrowly missed the sinking of the Mi Amigo in 1980. In 1983 he joined Radio Caroline on the Ross Revenge. That was a dream come true. Free choice of music and no commute to work! The adventure continued until the ship was silenced in 1989.

Work in local radio including, Invicta Radio in Kent, never measured up to Caroline and it all felt like a pale imitation of what he’d left behind. Lightening however struck twice with the birth of Quasar and he’s looking forward to a great future with his like-minded mates. A simple formula to bring great radio to those that appreciate great musicians performing great music.
